Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

1. Who we are

This website, prism-assure.com, is operated by R.J. MacEoin (“PRISM Assure”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what we collect through this website and the emails we send, why we collect it, who handles it on our behalf, and what rights you have.

3. What we collect

  • If you request the complimentary resources: your email address, and a record of when you confirmed your subscription.
  • If you contact us: your name, your email address, the type of enquiry, and anything you write in your message.
  • Automatically when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To send you the material you asked for — your consent.
  • To send you our newsletter and information about our courses and publications — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • To answer your enquiry — our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
  • To keep the site secure, available and working — our legitimate interest in operating it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

5. Who handles it for us

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our mailing list: an email marketing and course platform, our website hosting and security providers, and our business email and document provider. They act only on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that is so, transfers are made under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

If you would like to know which providers we use, write to us and we will tell you.

6. How long we keep it

  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, and for twelve months afterwards so that we can show we had your consent.
  • Enquiries: twenty-four months after our last exchange.
  • Website logs: no longer than twenty-six months.

7. Cookies

This site sets only the cookies it needs to work: session and security cookies set by our website platform and our security provider. They do not track you across other websites and we do not use them for advertising.

We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that counts visits without setting cookies, without storing anything on your device, and without identifying you.

Where we place a video on the site, nothing from the video provider loads until you click to play it. If you do, that provider may set the cookies its player needs.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work.

8. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you; ask us to correct or delete it; ask us to restrict or stop using it; object to our use of it; ask for it in a portable form; and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie.

9. Changes to this policy

Any change will be posted on this page, with the date at the top updated.
